I just realized my boyfriend and I spent the entire weekend in our new kitchen, cooking, eating, cleaning and organizing 😂

Another one of my boyfriend’s creations! He is so good at making eggs benedict. I don’t know how he does it! This was our Sunday morning breakfast.

Hollandaise sauce 😁 that’s what Eggs Benedict is, poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce, which is a mixture of egg yolks, Dijon and other stuff.

Not really actually, not all Hollandaise sauce has dijon, and its only a really small amount. It is mostly egg yolks and butter, about 6-8 yolks for the sauce for two people.

That explains why the ingredients you mentioned didn't sound like I thought hollandaise would. 🙂

I would love if you could share the full recipe and method of how you made the hollandaise sauce! I can never find a packet mix here in the UK without gluten in it!
