Chicken is so good nutritionally, but the cost is always a problem, at least in comparison to other meat! I only really have roast chicken as part of the classic Sunday roast, topped with Yorkshire puddings, vegetables, roast potatoes, and of course... Gravy! Maybe something like this?

That looks similar to one that I did the other day. It's a classic recipe. https://www.recipetineats.com/roast-chicken/.

Tonight, however, I am going to try this one: http://www.gimmesomeoven.com/crispy-roasted-garlic-chicken/comment-page-2/#comments

It's a lot of garlic and butter.

I always use the leftovers of a roast chicken for sandwiches the next day or I add it to egg fried rice for lunch!

All the best, Leia

I like to use the left over in enchiladas.

Happy creating!

Looks good! Chicken is especially tasty when you get the right amount of crispiness!
