Slow Cooked Roast Beef In Gravy
This is a really nice recipe for cooking roast beef nice and slow in a dutch oven. The video was done around the holidays but roast beef is delicious any time of the year.

Ingredients
Top-round cut of roast beef or preferred cut
Flour
Olive oil
Marsalla
Minced Garlic
1 can of Campbell’s french onion soup
1 can of Campbell’s golden mushroom soup
Better than Bouillon
Organic beef broth
- Coat bottom of the dutch oven in olive oil
- Coat roast in flour
- Brown roast on all sides in the dutch oven with the heat on high
- Remove roast and use 1/4 cup – 1/2 cup of Marsala to deglaze dutch oven to start the gravy
- Add a heaping tablespoon of minced garlic
- add 1 can of Campbell’s french onion soup
- add 1 can of Campbell’s golden mushroom soup
- Lower heat
- Add 1 heaping tablespoon of Better than Bouillon
- Put Roast back in the dutch oven
- Add organic beef broth to cover the roast
- Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours until meat is tender

What could I replace the Campbell's soups with?

French onion soup is a beef broth with onion flavoring so you could saute some onions to add to beef broth. As for the mushroom soup, I would think a little cream and mushroom would get you close to the flavoring.
