Nooo, you don't eat raggmunk with apple sauce! It has to be raw stirred lingonberries. It's the opposite of apple sauce, which is mild and sweet. Also, looks matter. Lingonberries are deep blood red and perfectly matches the golden brown of raggmunk. Apple sauce disappears on raggmunk. Traditionally you also have fried pork with raggmunk. An important thing to clarify: Raggmunk are not pancakes. We have Swedish pancakes. I'm sure there is a recipe in the How to⦠community. I'll try to find it. You don't fry Swedish pancakes in a non-stick pan. You use a pancake iron. It's like a cast-iron skillet with very low brim. Perfect for frying thin pancakes.
