Besides eggs benedict, my favorite breakfast food is French toast! It’s so easy to make and most of the time I already have the ingredients.
I call this Deluxe French toast because I made it from store-bought brioche bread, cut into think slices and topped with strawberries and vanilla sugar. 🍓😋
To make, whisk an egg in a bowl, add some cinnamon, vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons milk. Then dip the thick bread slices in the mixture and fry directly into a hot pan with oil and butter until crispy. Serve with maple syrup, butter and whatever else sounds food!
